History

We are proud of our rich and glorious history that goes way back, when the diamond industry in India was still in its infancy.
Our founder, Bagmal bhai Parikh, also known as Babushah, was a visionary and a pioneer who shaped the future of diamond manufacturing in India. He trained and mentored many of the leading players in the Indian industry today and received the Pioneer of Diamond Manufacturing Activities in India award by the Government of India in 1987.
He started his company as part of the Mahendra Brothers Group, a renowned name in the diamond business. Ketan Brothers was born in 1969 as a subsidiary of Mahendra Brothers, with Babushah’s guidance and vision.
